Arturo Lanzani urbanista e geografo, è professore ordinario presso il Dastu del Politecnico di Milano. Si è occupato di letture delle trasformazioni del territorio con attenzione congiunta alle dinamiche economico-sociali e insediative-paesaggistiche e di progettazione e di pianificazione urbana e territoriale. E’ autore di una decina di volumi e di un centinaio di saggi. Alla attività accademica ha affiancato un costante impegno civile-amministrativo come assessore comunale e successivamente consigliere e presidenti di parchi in contesti periurbani della Lombardia.

Arturo Lanzani urban planner and geographer, is full professor at the Dastu of the Milan Polytechnic. He has dealt with interpretations of the transformations of the territory with joint attention to the economic-social and settlement-landscape dynamics and urban and territorial planning and design. He is the author of about ten volumes and about a hundred essays. In addition to his academic activity, he has continued to undertake a civil-administrative commitment as a municipal councilor and subsequently as councilor and presidents of parks in peri-urban contexts in Lombardy.
